This quarter, Gary Houston Electric would like to highlight James Williams for his exceptional work ethic and attitude. From the battlefield to the construction field, James has many accomplishments to ensure his success at GHEC.

After graduating from Mayflower High School in 2010, James enlisted in the Army. He was deployed to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom (2012-2013) as a combat medic. Once his Army term was complete, he joined the Reserves and the GHEC staff. He is a committed family man to his wife and son who enjoys deer hunting and four-wheeling whenever he has a chance.

In just three years into his career with GHEC, he has quickly become known for his integrity and accountability. James says he loves working with his hands, but is ultimately aiming for a desk in our office. He has earned his Residential Journeyman license and is continuing in the apprenticeship program to obtain his Commercial Journeyman license. “I will get my master card,” James says. “With my trade experience, I will always have a job.”

James highly suggests this trade field to his peers stating, “you can routinely progress in pay and will always have a fall back option.”
GHEC is proud to have James on our staff and look forward to seeing his list of accomplishments grow.

GHEC is is a company that is continuning to grow, thanks to hardworking people like James. If you’re interested in joining James on the GHEC team, Click here to apply online. GHEC is an equal opportunity employer.
